How far is the Hotel from the center of Stresa? It is easy to reach it?
The Hotel is 5 minutes by car from the center of Stresa and 20/30 minutes walking. You can reach the center from the main road and a footpath behind the property and close to the lake.
Does the Hotel have a courtesy bus free of charge for the guests?

Yes, six times in a day, every day, at fixed times. At 09.30am, 10.30am, 12.00pm, 02.30pm, 05.00pm and at 06.00pm. The bus back to the hotel is 5 minutes later accordingly.
Which is the time for the check-in? And the time for the check-out?
Check-in is from 2 p.m. and check-out is at 12.00 noon. Early room assignment can only be guaranteed by pre-registration from the night before. In this case an extra room night will be charged.
Which is your cancellation policy?
Kindly be advised that our cancellation and no show policy is 72 hours prior the date of arrival, in case of no show, late cancellation or amendments without respecting the above terms, 02 nights penalty will be charged. In case of packages the total amount of the booking will be charged. In case of early departure, the entire amount of the stay will be charged as penalty fee.
What we need to confirm a reservation?
In order to confirm and guarantee the reservation, we require a written confirmation with your credit card number and expiry date on which we will ask an authorization that will expire in few days.

What is the history of the Villa Aminta?
In the millenarian village, overlooking the splendid Borromeo Gulf, shines a small jewel, the Hotel Villa Aminta. It was the Admiral of the Italian Navy Francesco Capece, Knight of the Order of S. Maurizio and Lazzaro, Knight of the Order of the Crown of Italy, Medal to memory of the campaigns of Africa, Cross of gold with crown for 40 years of military service, silver Medal to the valor military, to buy the Villa at his retirement from the Royal Navy in july of 1918, and named it like his beloved wife Aminta. At what time, it was a wonderful private residence, with only seven rooms and a bathroom.
